Queen City Prep Academy was founded with a mission to provide a learning environment which is conducive to each child ensuring that they are sufficiently prepared for college, able to gain college acceptance and equipped with essential tools to be successful college students.  The Academy obtains funding for scholarships that support and expand college scholarship opportunities or exposure and growth in the fields of arts, athletics and academics.  We believe that academics, arts and athletics create well-rounded individuals and successful college students.  Scholarship programs are made possible by smaller contributions from people who want to support educational opportunities for young people to attend our Academy, since our Academy is a private school and tuition based.  These contributions allow for on-going support for talented and gifted students to attend our Academy and gain the exposure they need in order to obtain college scholarships usings their talents and skills.  More than 80% of the basketball players on our team received full athletic college scholarships! We want to continue to help students attend college FOR FREE and expand these opportunities for students that are gifted in visual arts, dance, music, and theatre as well.  While many high schools have cancelled their arts and athletics program, we believe that these programs are crucial for students at our Academy.  We know that God has blessed these students with these gifts and we want to help them use them to help pay for their college education.     

Anyone can create an endowment in the form of a scholarship.  Here are various ways to do so:

The minimum amount to create a scholarship is $1000.  You are able to name the award, as well.  Contact Naundra Taylor for more information.  You can start your scholarship fund by completing the Scholarship Endowment Form and submitting your funds.   Your tax-deductible gift will provide a talented and gifted child an opportunity to attend Queen City Prep which focuses on those gifts and helps that student acquire college scholarships using their gifts and talents.  Donate now!

In efforts to promote high school arts and athletics as viable means to college acceptance and attainment of college scholarships, Queen City Prep Academy offers scholarships to deserving high school students enrolled in our Academy with hopes of playing college sports or performing in college arts programs.
