All post-grad players will register for CPCC upon their arrival to Charlotte. EMA will handle the registration process. There are some players that have already submitted their applications and taken the placement exams at CPCC. Your child does not have to apply on his own. He will still be able to register and take his placement exam when he gets here when school starts. EMA will be distributing enrollment information in the month of July.
No. Post-grad players are not required to wear a school uniform at EMA. However, varsity players are.
Yes. Housing has been finalized for the out-of-state players. Assignments will be communicated to you in the July newsletter.
Yes. You can send your child's transcript to either Queen City Prep or EMA. EMA will also request a copy of your child's official transcript from their last school attended.
Yes. The mattress size is a twin long.
Your child will be living in a dormitory like facility. He should have linens, hygiene products, a mini-refrigerator for his personal use, a footlocker, a lock, hangers, school supplies, etc. We will provide a more detailed list in the July newsletter.

No. The school is not affiliated with an area hospital. However, the team will be utilizing the Carolinas Medical Center, located at 1000 Blythe Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28203. There phone number is: (704) 355-2000.
We have coverage on all of the players in the event they are hurt or injured during practices or games. Of course, your child should maintain medical coverage for any medical attention needed. If your child needs a local doctor visit, we will provide the transportation to get him to and from doctor visits.
Yes. Your child will need a physical exam.
