Garner Road YMCA & Queen City Prep Academy extend to you and your team(s) an invitation to participate in the annual New Year Prep Classic Basketball Tournament. This tournament will take place at the Garner Road Family YMCA Friday, January 2 to Sunday, January 4, 2009. The tournament is open to boys’ high school, post-graduate and junior college teams and each team is guaranteed 3 games!
The brackets will be filled on a first come first serve basis, so please return the registration form as soon as possible to assure your team a spot in the tournament. All team rosters must be received no later than December 13, 2008 so that they can be processed and included in the tournament Program Booklet. Late entries will be accepted on a space available basis. Please be sure to include uniform numbers and put the players in numerical order on the roster form.
A schedule will be drawn up and all participating teams will be contacted and given a copy of the tournament brackets with game dates and times as well as any additional forms and information when the rosters and fees ($250.00 per team) are received.
This tournament will be a single elimination tournament with the first place team winning a trophy and tournament t-shirts.
